Who we are

Mula Tracker (mulatracker.com) shares money facts for people in Zambia.

What we collect

If you join our email list, we keep:

your email address,
your first name, if you give it,
the page where you joined, and the date and time,
if you came from a link in one of our posts, the platform and campaign named in that link (for example "facebook" and "feefree-nov").

The platform and campaign tell us which posts bring people to the list. Your browser keeps them until you close the tab. This is not a cookie, and we do not use it to follow you.

The fee check in our posts runs in your browser. We do not store the amounts you type.

We do not ask for your phone number, your bank details or your mobile money PIN. Never share these with anyone who says they are from Mula Tracker.

Why we collect it

We use your email address only to send you Mula Tracker updates. You agree to this when you join the list.

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Where we keep it

Our website and email list run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare can keep data on servers outside Zambia.

To stop spam, the sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks that a person, not a bot, sends the form.

For this check, Cloudflare sees your IP address and details about your browser. We do not store them.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to each page. It does not use cookies and it does not follow you to other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you leave the list. When you leave, we delete your details within 30 days.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021, you can ask us to:

tell you what data we have about you,
correct it,
delete it,
stop sending you emails.

Email hello@mulatracker.com and we reply within 30 days.

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Zambia.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we update the date at the top of this page.

Your data, in plain words
